Dev & startup terminologies | Noun
Similar to how every day you tell yourself that you're going to change your life and never do, variables are a consistent way of displaying inconsistent values. Variables are names you associate with a value, so that you can keep referencing it even when the associated value changes. Essentially, variables are containers for different data types such as integer (whole numbers and negative numbers) or string (set of characters). At compile time, the compiler replaces the variable name with its actual content.
“Hmm, I`m having a hard time remembering what F stands for. ” “It stands for F***ing moron. You should start naming your variables with names everyone can understand. Including yourself.”
