UI Kit

Dev & startup terminologies | Noun

your chance to make your parents feel bad about not buying you Legos as a child. Maybe you would have been a better UI designer. UI kits are a collection of user interface building blocks, more specifically UI components and styles. Some examples of UI components are buttons, input fields, navigation menus, dropdowns. The styles defined in a UI kit refer to design attributes such as fonts, colors or drop shadows. These style properties affect all the elements in the UI kit and should be kept consistent in order to create visually cohesive designs.
