Otherwise known as “I tried to be a developer. The easier sequel”, SQL is a language for querying databases. It allows you to group stuff together through queries, aggregate information, do arithmetic operations and use logical conditions to narrow things down. Think Excel on steroids connected to a database. It sounds a lot like a person speaking, which makes it great for aspiring coders. Imagine typing “include” when you want to include something. Crazy, right?
“I'm going to learn SQL and become a developer.” “Good for you, Tom, good for you."
