Functional Testing

Dev & startup terminologies | Verb

a variation of “what does this button do?” Functional testing is a QA method through which testers determine if software is acting in accordance with predetermined requirements. This is a black-box testing technique, meaning the tester isn`t concerned with the source code. The objective is to test core functionalities and basic usability, accessibility and error conditions. This technique is not concerned with the system`s internal logic, but its behaviour.

“How would you describe a paradox?”

“Doing functional testing on a broken app.”
