Data Driven

Dev & startup terminologies | Noun

a socially acceptable way of saying you have no idea what you are talking about. A data-driven approach means making strategic decisions based on data analysis and interpretation. It's also one of those catchphrases you find in reports a lot, almost as used as “lorem ipsum” in web design. The term is usually associated with data science and has come to refer to the analysis of huge data sets and the presence of performance metrics such as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).

“There are two types of people. Those who can deduce facts from incomplete data and…” “Those who can't deduce anything from data-driven reports.”
