the equivalent of “15 minutes of fame” in agile teams. During daily scrum meetings, team members step up and summarize what they worked on during the previous day, what blockers they encountered and what are the next actionable steps or tasks for the next day. The role of dailies is to track the progress towards the sprint goal and to adjust the sprint backlog according to upcoming planned work.
Developer: “I baked a killer apple pie yesterday.” Scrum Master: “I think you`re missing the point of a daily, Jim.”
