CDN (Content Delivery Network)

Advanced IT Terms | Noun

those first few months of a relationship, when you keep all your stuff at his/her place because it's faster, but refuse to move in. A Content Delivery Network (CDN) integrates with your web hosting to make your website load faster regardless of the country the user is in. The CDN stores images and scripts from your website across different servers from different data centers around the world. It then automatically loads the data from the server that is physically closest to the user. It can also increase loading speed through other methods like caching or optimizing images depending on device.

“Where are all your chairs?”

“At her place, we`re in a CDN relationship. She throws one at me at full-speed whenever I need one.”
